More ‘right first time’ project deliveries from Energy Gurus

Over the past two months, Energy Gurus has delivered two more very successful projects to some of our most valued marine customers.

Condor Rapide: installation, commissioning, DnV.GL approval and handover of a replacement passenger vessel power management system. “Control system projects don’t get much more demanding than this”….Energy Gurus’s Operations Director Chris Milner said….“installation and commissioning was carried out in a very tight timescale and during a brief routine dry docking. With the vessel having to be back in service for the Easter holiday period, one of the busiest traffic periods of the year, the deadline was immovable and the pressure was on.  The project engineering team, led by Jonathan Marshall demonstrated the engineering expertise, commitment and professionalism that Energy Gurus is renowned for and delivered a highly complex project on time, to budget and under extreme pressure”.

The system was developed and built in Energy Guruss facilities over a 12 week period prior to the dry docking, with extensive testing and simulation carried out to ensure a ‘right first time’ solution, that would enable commissioning to be carried out in the very short time available. Extensive ‘hardware in the loop’ and ‘software in the loop’ testing was carried out prior to FAT, leading to zero comments from DnV.GL during the FAT. Energy Gurus’s commitment to ‘right first time engineering’ significantly reduces overall commissioning time and project risk, leading to successful project outcomes for both Energy Gurus and our Clients.

Pipeline Pigging Skids: the last of a series of 40 Zone II pipeline pigging skids was delivered in what was another demonstration of Energy Gurus’s leading position in design and delivery of control systems for hazardous areas.
